ST. PETERSBURG, Florida - For the third year consecutive year, someone has sent out text and emails with a hoax message that the National MLK Parade & Battle of the Bands has been cancelled.
The Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday & Legacy Association, Inc. says the parade is not cancelled. The parade and battle of the bands is still taking place tonight in Tropicana Field and Monday in downtown St. Pete.
