Land O' Lakes, Florida -- Deputies say a 19-year-old who was nearly hit by a car while on her skateboard responded by spewing racial slurs and beating the woman's car with her board.

Tashalyn Causey was reportedly pulling into the drive-thru at the McDonald's on Land O'Lakes Boulevard Saturday afternoon when she almost accidentally hit Jasmine Hobbs.

A couple minutes later, as Causey was waiting in the drive-thru, Hobbs approached her car and starting yelling at Causey calling her a "f---ing n-----"

To this, Causey replied, "I can be a n----- today." This apparently enraged Hobbs, who then grabbed her long skateboard and slammed it against the roof of Causey's car.

The clerk confirmed what happened to deputies, telling them he also heard Hobbs say, "I'm not afraid to beat a n-----'s a--" just before hitting the car.

Hobbs then took off on Land O'Lakes Boulevard, before she was found by a deputy. She was arrested and charged with criminal mischief (hate crime).
