Temperatures will be about 10 to 15 degrees above average for your Wednesday morning with lows ranging from the upper 60's at the coast to the upper 50's on the Nature Coast. Skies will be partly cloudy with areas of patchy fog through 9 AM
Wednesday will be our last day of spring-like weather before a cold front moves through early Thursday morning. High temps on Wednesday will range from the upper 70's at the coast to mid 80's inland. The cold front will be approaching the Nature Coast Wednesday evening; and will move through our southern zones overnight into early Thursday morning. Winds will start picking up Wednesday afternoon, gusting up to 23 miles per hour. Skies will be mostly sunny, with increasing clouds after 8 PM. The front will bring a 50% chance of rain to the area, with a slight chance of thunderstorms.
High pressure will quickly build in behind the front, ushering in much cooler and drier air. High temps on Thursday will only be in the upper 60's with lows dropping into the 40's by nighttime. Near freezing temperatures will be possible for interior sections of the Nature Coast by Friday morning. The weekend will be mostly sunny and dry, with gradually warming temperatures.
