The Car Store in Seffner - via Google Earth
Seffner, Florida -- After a violent episode at a Seffner car dealership Friday morning, SWAT team members were able to the man safely into custody.
Deputies say Corey Dyal went to his friend's business, The Car Store in the 800 block of East Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., and started to act strange.

He then reportedly pulled a knife on his friend and with a gun he fired several shots outside, behind the business. He then armed himself with a shovel, threatened a worker and proceeded to break the windows out of several vehicles on the lot.
When Dyal kicked in the back door and walked inside the business, the employees ran out the front safely.
Deputies say they were then able to make contact with Dyal, who had threatened to harm himself and took him into custody without incident.
During the standoff, Dyal apparently called into Bubba the Love Sponge's radio show.

In a press release, Bubba The Love Sponge Clem says a man identifying himself as "Corey" called his morning show after hearing Bubba talking about the standoff with the owner of The Car Store, Todd Herdon.
During the conversation with what Bubba described as a "clearly agitated Corey," Bubba says he "implored him to come to his senses."
Bubba says Dyal was taken into custody shortly after their on-air talk.
"I'm just glad The Herndons are safe, no deputies were harmed and this gentleman can get the help he needs," Bubba said in the press release.
Dyal, 36, has been charged with two counts aggravated assault with a weapon, burglary of a business, felony criminal mischief and discharge of a firearm in public.
