Ocala, Florida -- A high school employee has been arrested for sending nude pictures of herself to students.
On March 4, the Ocala Police Department found that Jody Onorato, an attendance clerk at Vanguard High School, sent nude pictures of herself to students at that same school via text messages. The first victim received the nude photos during his 11th grade year and has since graduated. The second victim received nude photos of Onorato on his cellular phone as recently as January 2013.
Calls were made by the mothers of the victims to Onorato. In these calls, Onorato apologized to each of the mothers for sending the nude photos of herself to their sons.
Reportedly, Onorato admitted that she had sent numerous nude photographs of herself via her cellular telephone to each of the victims. She said she did so for attention.
Onorato was placed under arrest by Det. Fernandez and charged with two counts of Transmitting Harmful Material to Minors. She was transported and booked into the Marion County Jail.
