Tarpon Springs, Florida -- One man's trash is another man's treasure. And sometimes it can be even more precious!
Jon Worthington posted a video onto YouTube hoping to find a family that is missing some memories.
In the video description, Worthington says his son bought a broken 8mm camera from a thrift store in Tarpon Springs--planning to use it as a prop in the movies he makes.
In the camera bag, he discovered three 8mm videocassettes filled with video of children during their birthdays and baptisms.
"I am sure the mother does not know these tapes were in the bag," writes Worthington. "And I can only speculate on the situation that carried that bag to the thrift store."
Worthington hopes by uploading some of the video, he'll be able to return the tapes to the rightful owner.
There are date stamps on two of the scenes in the video--1997 & 1999. If they are correct, the babies in video would now be teenagers.
