TAMPA, Florida - An agreement has been reached in the mediation between shock jocks Bubba "the Love Sponge" Clem and Todd "MJ" Schnitt. Both parties have resolved their differences and the case is over.
As part of the agreement, appeals are finished and each side has agreed to withdraw any motions pending. Also, any claims Bubba and his company have for attorney fees are waived. According to Bubba, it's a cost of $800,000. In addition, Bubba cannot make any derogatory remarks against MJ's wife or children. If that is violated, there will be a $5,000 fine. MJ is still fair game.
This agreement comes after MJ sued Bubba for defamation. In January, a jury ruled in favor of Bubba. MJ was appealing that decision.
