St. Petersburg, Florida -- St. Pete Police have identified the suspect wanted in the shooting of a woman who died after being dropped off at Bayfront Medical Center last week.
Detectives say they are looking for 18-year-old Morris Vernell Hires III who also goes by the names Antonio Baker and Malcolm Myey.
On Friday morning, police say a group of people drove over to Hires' home to buy drugs. Hires met the car out front and at one point, an argument broke out between him and someone in the car with Felicia Vickers. That's when Hires reportedly pulled out a gun and shot into the car hitting Vickers.
Vickers was driven to the hospital and the others with her left before police arrived. She died later that afternoon.
Hires is described as 5'7", 135 pounds and has a tattoo on his right forearm of the letters MOE surrounded in flames. He had been staying at 535 26th Avenue South, but police believe he has since fled that residence and his whereabouts right now are unknown.
He is considered armed and dangerous.
Detectives are asking that anyone with information concerning Hires whereabouts to contact Detectives Kenneth Miller at 727-892-5916 or the police non-emergency number at 727-893-7780.
