Port Richey, Florida -- A deputy waiting at a red light got quite a show Tuesday night when he glanced over and saw a woman attacking her husband in the driver's seat.
While at the intersection of U.S. 19 and Embassy Boulevard around 7 p.m., the Pasco County deputy saw the passenger in a pickup truck, later identified as 46-year-old Jennifer Lee, slapping the driver's head and face.
Lee then reportedly pulled his hair and head down towards her and pushed his head back. When the light turned green, she let go of his hair and that's when the deputy pulled the pair over.
According to the arrest report, Lee told the deputy she was mad because she "wanted to go play putt-putt golf and they didn't go". She also said she pulled her 68-year-old husband's hair because he said hurtful things to her.
Lee was arrested and charged with domestic battery on person over 65.
