Lake Alfred Quick Trip Convenience Store burglarized for 3rd time of cigarettes

Lake Alfred, Florida -- Lake Alfred Police detectives are asking for the public's help finding the suspects responsible for burglarizing the same convenience store three times.

Police say the most recent burglary at the Quick Trip Convenience Store, located in the 1000 block of East Alfred Drive, occurred on March 23. In that instance, the burglar broke in through the roof's air conditioning duct system and then dropped into the store through the ceiling.

The suspect was seen wearing a black cap with a white bandana covering his or her face and holding a pink backpack with a woman's picture on the front.

Surveillance video shows the burglar throwing the backpack up into the ceiling, possibly to another suspect who cannot be seen.

Investigators say in the first two burglaries entry was gained by breaking out a window on the front of the store. Each time, Newport cigarettes and either Black and Mild cigarillos or other brands of cigarettes were stolen.
