Tampa, Florida -- There are many cancer support groups across the Bay area. We've compiled a list of some of the ones available to not only breast cancer survivors, but friends and family too.
Breast Cancer Support Group at Florida Hospital Tampa:
This group meets monthly to provide positive support to women who are currently bring treated for, or are survivors of breast cancer and meets every fourth Tuesday of the month at the Breast Care Center in the LifeHope Medical Offices.

Support Groups at Moffitt Cancer Center:
Breast and GYN Cancer Support Group
Support group for women with breast or gynecologic cancers. Meets for seven - eight weekly sessions throughout the year on Mondays, 10 - 11 a.m., in the 5th floor lounge of the hospital. Call the Social Work Office 813-745-8407 for more information about when sessions are offered.
Cancer Support Group
Support group for patients with any cancer diagnosis. Meets every Tuesday, 1-2 p.m., 5th floor lounge of hospital. Call the Social Work Office 813-745-8407 for more information.
Family and Friends Group
Support group for family members, friends and caregivers of cancer patients. Meets every Tuesday, 1-2 p.m., 5th floor of the hospital, room 5140 A. Call the Social Work Office 813-745-8407 for more information.
Look Good - Feel Better
Consultation with beauty specialists (wigs, make-up) for women treated for cancer, 2nd Tuesday of every month, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Must contact American Cancer Society at 813-254-3630 to register.
Meet Up for Young Adults with Cancer
Support group for young adult patients (ages 20-32) and their caregivers. "Meet Up" on the 2nd Wednesday of every month, 1-2 p.m., 5th floor lounge of the hospital. Call the Social Work Office 813-745-8407 for information.
