Charges were dropped today against Bucs Da'Quan Bowers stemming from a February 19th arrest.
He was charged after authorities say he arrived at La Guardia airport with a .40 caliber gun in his luggage.
He was released from jail and faced two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
But his attorney, Dennis Coppin told 10 News today that they dismissed the felony charges and he only plead guilty to a violation of disorderly conduct. Similar to a speeding ticket.
Bowers had to pay a $250 fine and now the case is sealed.
Coppin says everyone involved realized it was just an innocent mistake.
