New Port Richey, Florida - He's dirty, disgusting and deviant, neighbors say.

A man described as being between his late fifties and early seventies is accused of the unthinkable - preying on children and molesting them.

This mystery molester lured two 9-year-olds, a boy and a girl, out of their front lawn and behind a vacant home in New Port Richey on Friday night around 8pm in the 6000 block of 9th Avenue.

He told the kids he wanted to "play a game."

It all started with the promise of candy. In fact, sources say the molester told the kids to reach into his pocket.

The children live across the street from each other and were playing basketball when the man was stalking them, deputies say.

Neighbors, who are moms, couldn't believe the news when they heard the news about the molester.

"This hits close to home," Sylvia Spencer told 10 News.

Julie Roberts said, "Wow, wow. I don't even have words."

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office has launched a manhunt for the molester who was seen driving a maroon SUV.

Detectives are hoping that someone knows who this molester is and will turn him in soon.
