Variable cloudy skies and scattered showers will be the rule today, but we gradually lower rain chances and raise temperatures through the weekend.  The upper level low that is responsible for the elevated rain chances over the past week is slowly moving west away from our area.  This means rain chances will be gradually decreasing through Sunday.  We will still see afternoon storms, but they will shift inland each afternoon and overall coverage will be reduced.  Rain chance is 60% today, 50% tomorrow and 40% Sunday.  Highest rain chances will be east of I-75.

Friday Showers and thunderstorms likely. Partly sunny, with a high near 88. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Friday Night Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 74. Southwest wind around 6 mph becoming calm after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
