PASCO CO., Florida -- Heavy rain cause some local flooding in Pasco County Saturday afternoon.
Mexicali Street, Ivory Terrace, Brightwell Drive were all under water for a short time, but have since returned to normal.
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office says high water levels have dropped and roads are open, with the exception of Bellamy Brothers, Jessimine, and Parkway Blvd. Johnston Road is partially closed for local traffic only.
Deputies say these roads all received damage from heavy rains earlier this week.
Predicted thunderstorms over the next few days could produce another 2"-3" of rain per day in the area.
Sandbags will be available on Sunday, August 25 at the West Pasco Goverment Center, 7536 State St., New Port Richey.
