St. Petersburg, Florida -- St. Petersburg Police Department is investigating a shooting that put a woman in the hospital with serious injuries.
According to reports, Rubi Rosado went with a group of men, including her boyfriend, to a home on 14th Street North to continue an ongoing dispute with the occupants of the home.
Upon arrival several men began fighting which was followed by gunfire. Rosado, who was seated in her boyfriend's car, was hit in the head by gunshot. She was driven away from the area by her boyfriend who stopped outside the Checkers on MKL Street South to call for help.
Rosado's condition is stable and it appears that she will recover from her injury.
Detectives are still in the process of attempting to identify the individual responsible for the shooting and no criminal charges have been filed as yet.
