Tampa, Florida - Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a Tampa couple at gunpoint in the driveway of their home.
The incident took place near River Point Drive and Glen Cove Drive in the River Bay mobile home community on Tuesday at 9:15 p.m.
"He said 'I'm going to kill you if you don't give me the bag,'" said the victim, who is only being identified as Bob.
The victim and his wife just arrived home and were getting out of the car when the gunman approached.
"He walked up [behind us] up the driveway with a gun his hand," Bob said.
As the gunman forced Bob to the ground, his wife ran back into the passenger side of their car and locked the door.
When the woman refused to open it, the gunman shot through the window.
"When I heard the shot, the first thing that went through my mind is 'Oh, my god, my wife got shot,'" said Bob.
The bullets missed her, but one hit the lower front console while two others went through the dashboard.
The gunman, who is described as 5'9" to 6'1" and was wearing dark clothing, jumped into the passenger side of a newer model, silver 4-door Toyota or Nissan car with tinted windows and took off. He got away of the woman's purse, which contained money and credit cards.
