Around 5 a.m. people started tweeting out photos of the scene, where you can see fire trucks.
Airport officials say the fire alarm went off, forcing them to evacuate the airport.
There was about a half hour delay while everyone got back through security and equipment was put back online, but airport officials told CBS affiliate WCAX they're pleased with how it was handled during the busiest part of their day and say it could have been a lot worse.
The cause of that fire alarm -- burnt toast.
