Sarasota, Florida -- One man is in the hospital and another man is under arrest after police say they got into an argument over a fishing spot on the Siesta Bridge in Sarasota.
Officers found the unidentified victim lying at the base of the bridge master's building at about 9 p.m. Saturday, according to the Sarasota Police Department.
The victim reportedly told officers he got into an argument with the suspect, David Christner of Sarasota, over where he had parked his vehicle while he was fishing.
The argument turned violent, with both Christner and the victim hitting each other, police say. Christner then allegedly grabbed an "ice pick" type of weapon and stabbed the victim twice.
The victim was taken to Blake Medical Center for treatment. Christner was arrested and charged with felony aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
