Sarasota, Florida - Unlike most art festivals where visitors see the finished work, the Sarasota Chalk Festival allows one to see an artist work from start to finish!
More than 500 artists are in downtown Sarasota through Monday for the largest contemporary pavement art festival in the world.
This year's theme is "Legacy of Valor" and it pays tributes to veterans and civil rights leaders.
The Sarasota Chalk Festival has been called the most "intelligent" travel destination according to the New York Times blog "In Transit."
