Video: Couple claims they tipped gay waitress, shows proof

BRIDGEWATER, NJ (APP) -- NBC 4 New York is reporting that the family which Bridgewater waitress Dayna Morales said left her a hateful note and no tip did in fact leave a tip and did not write the note.

Morales, a former Marine and a server at Gallop Asian Bistro in Bridgewater, posted a photo on Facebook earlier this month of a receipt with the note "I'm sorry but I cannot tip because I do not agree with your lifestyle."

A husband and wife, who asked to remain anonymous, said their receipt from the restaurant shows they did leave a tip, and provided a credit card statement as proof. They showed a receipt that appeared to be printed at the same time, on the same date, for the $93.55 total, except with an $18 tip, according to the report.

The family also provided a Visa bill, which shows that their card was charged for the meal plus the tip, for a total of $111.55, the report says.
