Talk about quick on your feet!  Check out this amazing save caught on camera at a Home Depot store in Alaska.  But this employee wasn't just catching a piece of glass or some expensive tool --
that's a *baby* falling out of a shopping cart!

Eighteen-year-old Chris Strickland moved with lightning speed -- and scooped the baby into his arms before the child would hit the floor.

Strickland will receive the Home Depot "Angel Award" for his fast-thinking response to what could have been a serious accident.

The store says the award is only presented on rare occasions for exceptional acts of heroism.
