The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Marine Unit and Dive Team recovering a submerged car from the water near the Port of Tampa on Feb. 25, 2014.
Tampa, Florida-- A sweep of the shrimp docks Tuesday near the Port of Tampa lead Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies to an unexpected find- a car that had been submerged under water for what appears to be quite some time.
According to the sheriff's department's official Twitter account, side-scan sonar on their Intrepid detected the car, prompting the marine unit and dive team's full operation to recover it from the water.
