Here's the Press Release from Heather Clem's Little Pet Project:
Tampa, FL, December 04, 2007 - Little Pet Project, a company that uses sexy, sometimes nude images of women with their pets to raise awareness for homeless and abused animals, announced the release of their 2008 pictorial calendar. The calendar features celebrities such as Playboy model Debbi Davids, American Idol® contestant Melissa McGhee and Heather Clem, wife of Sirius® Shock Jock Bubba The Love Sponge® Clem.
"The calendar is the product of months of studio and location shooting with celebrities, models, students and even homemakers,” states co-founder Lisa Presnail. “These women are passionate about animals and are eager to, as our theme line says, Go All The Way For A Stray to help raise awareness of the problem.”
All of the models volunteered their time and image. Each month’s page includes the featured model explaining to the reader why she felt compelled to “Go All The Way For A Stray.”
Little Pet Project founders Lisa Presnail and Colleen Walsh predict that by developing a positive and fun message about a serious problem, they will attract an audience that may have otherwise been unmoved by more traditional communication efforts.
Presnail and Walsh, both professional photographers, joined forces in June of this year to form Little Pet Project, LLC. Devoted to making a difference in the lives of animals everywhere, they are currently building additional web galleries such as the “Givers Gallery” which highlights women who are actively involved in animal welfare issues. The site’s main gallery currently features 100+ images of women “Going All The Way For A Stray.”
The cost of the calendar is $19.99 and a portion of the proceeds will benefit animal welfare organizations.
The site also features an online store where visitors can purchase the calendar, posters, greeting cards and a new line of clothing.
