At least 8 hurt after Baltimore building collapse

DUNDALK, Md. (WJZ) – A building collapsed at the old Bethlehem Steel plant with construction workers inside.

CBS affiliate WJZ reports months of demolition came to a halt Monday morning when part of a roof collapsed. It happened shortly after 10 a.m. Monday in the 1500-block of Sparrows Point Road.

Authorities say at least eight people are injured. Three were transported to Shock Trauma in critical condition.

The Baltimore County Fire Department reports none of the injuries are life threatening.

All people are accounted for at this time.
