RIVERVIEW, Florida -- Hillsborough County Fire Rescue battled a brush fire in the area of Rhodine Road and Rising Oak Lane in Riverview.

The brush fire was reported at around noon on Saturday, Feb. 2. The fire covered an area of about 35 acres, according to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, but is now under control.

HCFR crews battled the fire for over five hours in conjunction with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office and Florida Forestry.

There are no reports of injuries.
