BRANDENTON - Police arrested a man in connection to a fatal shooting in Manatee County.
Just after 6 a.m. Thursday morning, Bradenton Police responded to a report of shots fire in the 1100 block of 5th St. W. When officers arrive on scene they located a male on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck. He died before medical personnel arrived.
Investigation showed there was an argument between Derrick Bernard Frazier (left) and Dequan Randolph (right). Mr. Frazier fled the scene after the shooting in a white Ford Pick up truck. He was located several miles from the shooting and was taken into custody without incident.
This is the 2nd Homicide that has occurred within the City limits of Bradenton during 2016.
