Freezer containing dogs' remains stolen from vet hospital

The bodies were inside a freezer that was stolen from a veterinary hospital.

Bradenton police are searching for the man who stole a freezer containing the remains of two dogs from a veterinary hospital.

About 10:20 p.m. Tuesday, the suspect entered a secured area of the Bradenton Veterinary Hospital in the 1300 block of 16th Avenue W and stole a freezer unit. In the freezer were the remains of two dogs waiting for cremation.

The suspect was driving a dark medium-size pickup truck, possibly a Nissan Frontier. The vehicle was last seen leaving the scene easy on 17th Avenue W.
