Plant City, Florida -- Authorities say they have arrested the suspect they believe shot and killed a man on Wednesday in Plant City.
Around 3 a.m. Thursday, Plant City police received a tip that the suspect, Master Brown, may have been in the south Plant City area. Police went to the location and located a car in the area.
Brown, along with two other passengers, drove off in the vehicle. Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies initiated the pursuit along with Plant City PD and chased the car into Pasco County.
At some point Brown allegedly returned to Hillsborough County, traveling into a gate and open field at Midway Road and Charlie Taylor Road. That's where Brown and the two passengers fled on foot.
As authorities initiated a ground search, a bus driver in that area noticed the suspect and called police. Arriving officers found and arrested Brown and the two passengers.
Deputies believe Brown shot and killed a man on South Maryland Avenue in Plant City around 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Police are not sure if the two passengers in the car had any connection to the murder.
