Orlando daycare reopens after deadly crash

Orlando, Florida -- For the first time in two months, an Orlando area KinderCare is back open after a car crashed through it, killing one child and hurting more than a dozen others.

The building, especially the outside, has undergone structural changes. Five planters were placed strategically along the front of the day care. In the middle of each concrete planter are two steel pipes, also filled with cement.

A KinderCare spokesperson says they're just glad to be welcoming families back.

The driver of the Dodge Durango, Robert Corchado, is charged with crashing into a Toyota, and pushing it toward the daycare then leaving the scene of the accident.

He remains in the Orange County Jail.
