Pinellas deputies say be on lookout for armed robber

Pinellas County deputies are asking for the public's help to find an armed robber who has struck at least six convenience stores.

According to detectives, the suspect targeted convenient stores and once inside the store, the suspect would threaten the clerk with a knife in all but one of the six robberies, where he produced a handgun.

After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect would flee from the store on foot to an awaiting vehicle described as a dark-colored sedan.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s or 30 years old, 6 feet to 6-foot-3-inches tall, with a medium build.

He was last seen on Nov. 7, 2017, wearing a black hoodie, baggie jeans, a nylon half mask and gloves.

Anyone with information on these robberies is asked to contact Detective A. Scarpati of the Robbery/Homicide Unit at (727) 582-6200. To remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS or at their website.
