Police seek help in Palm Harbor bank robbery

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help regarding a bank robbery in Palm Harbor on Friday.

Deputies say the suspect, who likely robbed the same bank on June 24, entered the Jefferson Bank of Florida at 35320 U.S. 19 at 3:30 p.m., displaying a black handgun and demanding cash. He received an undisclosed amount before fleeing.

The suspect is described as a white male between 40 and 50 years old, 5’ 10” to 5’ 11” and weighing between 230 and 240 pounds. He wore a surgical mask, white t-shirt, blue jeans and a blue Tampa Bay Rays baseball cap.
