Schweickert could soon stand trial in killings

St. Petersburg, Florida -- A man already serving 40 years in federal prison could soon stand trial for drugging, torturing and murdering two gay men back in 2003.

Jason Galehouse and Michael Wacholtz were killed on consecutive nights. Authorties believe Scott Schweickert and Steven Lorenzo met the men at a nightclub and brought them home.

Both are serving federal prison time on conspiracy and drug charges.

Police recovered the body of Wacholtz, but Galehouse was dismembered and his body parts were scattered.

A grand jury indicted Schweickert in 2012.
