Suspect runs off with cash at Largo Walmart before assaulting victim

A man cashing his paycheck Tuesday, Nov. 28, at the Walmart store at 2677 Roosevelt Blvd., had his money swiped by another, according to a news release.

LARGO, Fla. -- Police are looking to identify a man and a woman he was with before he made off with stolen cash.

A man cashing his paycheck Tuesday, Nov. 28, at the Walmart store at 2677 Roosevelt Blvd., had his money swiped by another, according to a news release.

Surveillance video from the store shows the suspect running off with the victim just behind. Police say the victim was assaulted by the suspect before being seen leaving in a white fan.

The suspect is described as a white man with a beard, wearing a dark-colored T-shirt and green pants. A blond woman with the man was wearing all black, and police say she left the store just before the robbery.

Anyone with information is asked to call Officer Norris Clay at the Largo Police Department by calling 727-439-8467.
