Third teen suspect charged in senior citizen attack

Pinellas Park, Florida-- The third and final suspect wanted in connection with the beating and stabbing of an 83-year-old Pinellas Park man has been charged.

The 15-year-old teenager was picked up by St. Pete police at about 9 o'clock Thursday night, after a relative alerted authorities. We're choosing not to name the teen, in accordance to our 10 News Crime Guidelines since she's a minor.

Police say she and her parents were cooperative during questioning.

The girl, along with two other teens, is accused of beating and stabbing an elderly man outside his apartment complex earlier this week, and then stealing his car. The boys are brothers, ages 13 and 16, and both were arrested yesterday.

The victim, Charles Clark, says he's beyond relieved to hear all suspects have been caught.

While still sore, Charles says he's recovering nicely, and the community has been showing their support by sending food, repairing his car and, soon, replacing the locks on his apartment door.
