OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. -- Deputies responded to a call about an occupied burglary at the scene of a residence located at 601 Royalty Court on Nov. 1 around 5:00 p.m.
According to Osceola County deputies, 10-15 teens were in a crowd at arrival. One of the teens attempted to flee from the scene when the deputies arrived.
After investigating the incident and speaking to the people involved, it was discovered that the person who attempted to flee, now identified as 18-year-old Elias Rosario-Torres, had been involved and fired several shots from a handgun. He has been charged with multiple offenses, including aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony and attempted murder.
18-year-old Edgar Santiago and 16-year-old Yancarlo Santiago-Lopez were also arrested for their involvement in the incident after attempting to kick down the door at the occupied residence. Both were charged with occupied burglary and criminal mischief.
All three teens were transported to the Osceola County Jail after being arrested.
