Deputies: Man tried to break into neighbor's home, fails, pees on porch

Video shows a break-in attempt by a man who made himself confortable.

Surveillance video shows a man try to break into a neighbor's home, but after failing he urinates and makes himself comfortable, Pasco County deputies said.

The video was taken early Tuesday. Deputies say the video shows James Pietracatella, 25, entering the back porch of his Wesley Chapel neighbor's home. He had several steak knives.

The video shows him trying to enter the home by using one of the knives, but is unsuccessful, deputies said.

Then, Pietracatella urinates on the porch, sits down on a porch chair and smokes a cigarette.

Deputies said at the time of the incident, the victim’s two children were inside getting ready for school.

Deputies made contact with Pietracatella a few hours later, and he was wearing the same clothing from the incident. They said he confessed to the incident, saying he committed the offense because he felt “mischievous."

Deputies said he was under the influence of alcohol.

He was arrested and is being held on $50,000 bail.
