Deputies: Pasco Co. asst. principal became sick from cannabis cookies

PASCO CO., Fla -- A Pasco Co. school administrator was arrested after police say she became sick from cannabis cookies over the weekend.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office, Anclote High assistant principal Donna Lynch Haff, 50, was arrested at her home Monday after being released from St. Joseph Hospital North.  They say she had become sick from the cookies on Sunday.

Haff was charged with possession of a controlled substance.  Police say a cookie in her possession tested positive for THC, and that a co-defendant admitted the cookie was theirs.

Bond was set at $2,000.
