Bradenton, Florida -- At least 22 people are injured after a school bus and a tractor trailer crashed Thursday afternoon in Bradenton.

The crash happened at State Road 64 and 64th Street Court East around 4:15. The Florida Highway patrol says the bus collided with the back of the semi.
Twenty-one students and the bus driver were transported to three area hospitals for non-life threatening injuries. The bus was transporting students from Braden River Middle School and had about 40 students on board, total.
The driver of the semi was not injured
The FHP is on scene and conducting the crash investigation.
