Video game composer Tommy Tallarico helped create the 120-musician show featuring music from games like Sonic the Hedgehog, Mario Brothers, Zelda, and Halo combining interactive games with music at the Mahaffey Theater-- one of 50 shows worldwide.
Tallarico has been a video game composer for more than 20 years working on music for games like Tony Hawk Pro Skater and James Bond.
He told 10 News that Video Games Live is a show for everyone with the excitement of a rock concert. It's an opportunity for young people to appreciate the symphony. The show started 10 years ago and Friday's performance was the first in St. Petersburg.
