(USA TODAY) After joking around about how they're both sick, Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake chatted Monday night about JT's SNL gig.
Fallon asked Timberlake about changing lines in his Jay-Z duet, Suit & Tie.
Rather than performing the song's original line of "S--- so sick got a hit and picked up a habit," Timberlake sang, "My hit's so sick got rappers acting dramatic," a move many interpreted as a response to Kanye West, reports Huffington Post.
Last month, Kanye took a dig at Suit & Tie during a concert in London, telling the audience, "I got love for Hov, but I ain't (messing) with that Suit & Tie."
On Monday's Late Night show, Fallon brought up the lyric change.
"Did I change lyrics?" said Timberlake, sweetly.
Finally, he said, "You know, really, everyone, keep calm."
"Keep calm and Kanye on," said Fallon.
"For the record, I absolutely love Kanye," said Timberlake, "so there's that."
But with a grin, he added, "Were lyrics changed? I don't remember."
