WINTER HAVEN, Florida - Legoland Florida announced a park expansion that will include a new ride and interactive play area.
This time, Legoland is partnering up with Cartoon Network to take you through the "World of Chima" in a highly-interactive water ride experience called "The Quest for CHI." It is based on their new product line, "Lego Legends of Chima."
Legoland plans to open the latest attraction in July, although they haven't announced a definitive date.
Since opening in October 2011, Legoland Florida has added hotels, a Star Wars-themed area and a water park.
Legoland Florida is based on the building-block toys and has rides and attractions geared toward ages 2 to 12. The Winter Haven location is one of five Lego-based theme parks in the world, and the company's largest.
Meanwhile, Legoland California opened its "Legends of Chima 4-D Experience" earlier this month.
