Selena Gomez arrives at the 2011 Grammy Awards
USA Today -- Selena Gomez was set to go on tour in Australia in 2014. But she nixed the plans, claiming that she needed to take some time for herself.
"My fans are so important to me and I would never want to disappoint them," the singer says in a statement. "But it has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be."
She did manage to finish her six-month, 55-date European and U.S. tour, though. So there's that.
The Rolling Stones celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2012. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are 70. U2's 360 Tour went on for two years with seven legs.
Selena's 21. Just sayin'.
