Newt Gingrich speaks in Orlando after losing the Florida primary to Mitt Romney.
ORLANDO, Florida (AP) - Newt Gingrich says it's clear from the results in Florida that it's a "two-person race" for the GOP nomination.
As he portrayed it, it's a contest between a "conservative leader" and a "Massachusetts moderate" -- using that term to describe Mitt Romney, after also labeling him a liberal in recent days.
Gingrich, who has spoken of being out-spent by Romney in Florida, vowed that "people power" would defeat "money power."
In a wide-ranging speech in Orlando after his second-place finish to Romney, Gingrich vowed to get America "back on the right track," and said re-electing President Barack Obama would be a "disaster."
Among the orders he says he'd sign as soon as he takes office is one authorizing the Canada-to-Texas oil pipeline that was rejected by the Obama administration. He also vowed to reverse what he described as "anti-religious" actions by Obama.
