Fort Lauderdale, FL (CNN) - This Fort Lauderdale woman is so scared she's afraid to show her face, "If something would have happened to him, I don't know what I would do." Someone threw a bomb through my window. They said if there was no tint on the window, I could have been dead."

Her son, Christian just two years old, was sleeping on the couch Monday morning,  when someone threw a bomb, detonating it just outside the window. "He was on the couch. It would have landed on top of him."

"As you can see, the concussion impact on the windows,  it didn't just shatter one window. It shattered three windows. It sent glass hurtling inside, and fortunately, no one was injured. There was a small child sitting on the couch inside that could have easily been killed if this bomb would have made it through the window," said Det. Travis Mandell of the Fort Lauderdale Police.

Fort Lauderdale Police brought out their bomb sniffing dog and took parts of the device back to the lab.

Mandell also had this to say, "It had some serious impact on this residence, so it wasn't just a simple firecracker, and whoever did this is facing some pretty serious charges. We do have some people of interest."

Still shaken over the event this mother just doesn't know what to do, "I don't want to stay here. I'm scared because I don't know if they are going to come back. I don't even know who it is. I'm very scared. I don't want to be here anymore. There's someone very crazy that wanted to hurt us."
