Seminole County, Florida - The judge in the Trayvon Martin case has ordered former neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman back to jail, revoking his bond after a series of alleged lies were uncovered by the state.
Prosecutors used recorded phone conversations between Zimmerman and his wife Shelly, alleging the couple intentionally deceived the court as to how much money they had at their disposal.
In the recordings, the Zimmerman's can be heard talking in code.
George Zimmerman asks: "in my account do I have at least $100?
Shelly Zimmerman responds: "$8. $8.60"
At the original April 20th bond hearing Mrs. Zimmerman testified she was having trouble scraping together enough money to make bond.
Turns out, according to the state, the family had access to over $135,000 cash, money secretly transferred from a Paypal account set up for Zimmerman's defense fund.
A condition of release was also the surrender of Zimmerman's passport, which he turned in to the court noting it expired in May of this year. He failed to mention the existence of a second passport valid through 2014.
On tape, he and his wife can be heard discussing that second passport. Shelly Zimmerman told her husband, "I have one for you in the safety deposit box."
George responded, "Okay, you hold onto that."
After learning the new information, the judge ordered Zimmerman back to the John Polk Correctional Facility by Sunday.
Seminole County Sheriff's Deputies say they known Zimmerman's location and expect he'll turn himself in within the allotted time.
