We are now seeing showers and storms popping up across the area.  You can expect this activity to fill in over the next few hours, resulting in on/off storms through 6 p.m.  Rain chances are slightly lower than yesterday and are running 60-70%.  There is a Flood Watch in effect for Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando and Citrus counties until 11 p.m. tonight because rainfall could be heavy at times today and that combined with the recent rains could cause some minor flooding.

Rain chances will be decreasing over the weekend to 50-60% on Saturday and even less 40% on Sunday.  The best timing for the rain this weekend will be in the afternoon hours.

Today: Mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers and storms.  Winds will blow SE-SW 10 mph with highs in the low to mid 80s.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy only a few showers. Lows in the low to mid 70s.

Weekend: A little bit drier with mainly mid to late day storms. 60% Saturday, 40% Sunday.  Winds turning ESE 10 mph with highs pushing 90.
