Jacksonville, FL -14-year-old Gina Evans walks out to receive her first degree black belt. Little does she know, her dad, who has been hiding in the bathroom, is walking about 20 steps behind her.

She bows, turns, and there he is.

Greg has been serving in Bagram, Afghanistan for the past 9 months.

The Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer was working with the Army, Navy and Air Force in a joint unit defense logistics agency and made it home in perfect time for one of the biggest days in his daughter's life.

"I only get to test for my first once, and he was here to see it."

Gina was testing for her black belt at Pak's Karate on Blanding , breaking bricks with her dad secretly watching.

"He's just been gone for so long. I missed him so much!"

A day this proud father was so thankful to be a part of.

"You can talk on the phone as much as you want to, or Skype them, but there's nothing like holding your two little girls in your hands. Feels good!"
