OCALA, Florida (AP) - Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan is scheduled to spend the day in Florida starting with a stop in Ocala.
His first campaign stop in swing state Florida is at a noontime rally Thursday in downtown Ocala.
A few thousand people gathered hours before the scheduled event.
Later Thursday, Ryan is scheduled to stop in Naples for a fundraiser and in Fort Myers for a campaign rally.
Democractic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden will make campaign stops in Florida on Friday and Saturday.
