Fort Myers, Florida (News-Press) -- The Lee County Sheriff's Office said the girlfriend of a deputy
arrested Monday night on charges of possession of steroids, marijuana
and drug paraphernalia was the person who notified the department the
deputy was in possession of the drugs.
John Eaton, a member of the sheriff's office for seven and a half

obtained a sworn statement earlier Monday revealing Eaton's suspected
drug use and possession.

contacted law enforcement after she said she had been in a physical
altercation with him earlier in the evening.

Myers residence, detectives discovered three vials of Testosterone
